With Android 14, you can access Health Connect from your Android device’s settings. It stores health, fitness, and medical data on your device and shares data between different apps.
With Health Connect, you can:
- Connect and sync your favourite health, fitness, and medical apps.
- Find all your data in one place.
- Stay in control of your privacy.
When you upgrade your Android device to Android 14, it automatically transfers your health and fitness data, along with Health Connect permissions. The system moves this data to the latest integrated version within the Android operating system from the Health Connect app.
Once the integration process is complete, you can uninstall Health Connect app without affecting your service.
Update your health & fitness app
Important: Health records are only available through the device settings and not the Health Connect app.
To support the latest version of Health Connect, app developers may update their application. Check if an update is available for your health, fitness, and medical app:
- Open the Google Play Store app
.
- At the top right, tap the profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps & device. Apps with an update available are labeled "Update available."
- Tap Update.
If an app update supporting the latest version of Health Connect isn’t available in the Google Play Store, wait until the developer publishes an update or contact your developer.
